Cody Smith and Jeremy Smith, chefs and owners at CB Social House have a conversation about how even though they were running the hugely successful City Butcher, they became a little bored and wanted a new venture and a new challenge. They talk about the fear of failure, the importance of paying attention to trends in your business, and their management strategy that’s all about empowering people to be the best they can be. They also discuss the importance of not going cheap on equipment and how the risky fiscal business of opening a new restaurant can be pretty scary.
