“It was one of the best things in my life, selling the business, because I was able to take a vacation with no cell phones or anything and just read and not worry that my business was burning down while I was relaxing,” says Kevin Wyas, founder of ECRI. Wyas says most entrepreneurs are afraid to do anything that might hurt their startup once it begins to generate income. He realized that by concentrating on the business, he was hurting himself and his relationship with his wife and kids. Wyas says to remember that the time you spend working is so you can spend time with your family.
