“Unfortunately, we’re seeing a lot of retail stores - brick and mortar - that are closing and it’s all because of the online sales that have been taking place,” says Vera Gibbons, managing member with Baby Foot. Gibbons says partnering with key, high-end online sellers and big retailers has helped them refine their strategy. Staying relevant through media presence, introducing new products or changing product packaging are some of the ways Gibbons says they avoid becoming stagnant.
